As the title suggests, the Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum preserves and interprets the fascinating history of the U.S. Life-Saving Service along the East Coast. Exhibits move through time via photographs, equipment and other artifacts, plus interesting forays into aquariums, a mermaid collection, old-fashioned bathing suits, and much more. The museum resides in a beautiful old building on the southern tip of the island, just below the Ocean Gateway.
